The Desert Edition expands the BATU 535i's living space to sleep eight.
The seating area with its movable folding table converts into four 180×70 cm bunk beds. Together with the 205×165 cm main bed in the bedroom, separated by a sliding door with a fly screen and curtain, it creates a comfortable sleeping arrangement for eight people.
A wardrobe, storage drawers, in-door storage compartments and a valuables safe are designed so everyone can keep their own things organized on busy trips.

The combi system provides both hot water and space heating, keeping the interior comfortable whatever the weather. A 65-liter refrigerator, air conditioning and a barbecue designed especially by CRAWLER complete your camp setup.
Ceramic-based interior thermal insulation and 18 mm Armaflex insulation keep outside temperature swings from being felt inside, in every season.

The riveted aluminum body and galvanized chassis provide durability in the harshest weather, while the light construction makes driving easy both on the road and off it.
Independent swing-arm suspension, eight shock absorbers and BFGoodrich off-road tires are standard. The optional CRAWLER Dynamic Suspension (C.D.S) offers level adjustment in three modes: camp, road and off-road.
