This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on crawlercaravans.com (the "Site"), why we use them and how you can control them. The controller is Crawler Caravans GmbH (see our Imprint). For how we process personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let the website remember you between pages and visits, for example to keep you signed in. Some cookies are set by the website you visit ("first-party cookies"); others are set by another company whose content or service the website uses ("third-party cookies").
2. Your consent and how to change it
We only store or access information on your device without your consent where this is strictly necessary to provide the Site you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). All other cookies and similar technologies are only used with your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
When you first visit the Site, a banner asks for your choice. You can accept all categories, allow only strictly necessary cookies, or choose categories one by one. Declining is as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, through the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we stop loading the related services and delete the statistics cookies we set.

3.1 Strictly necessary (always active)
These cookies are needed for the Site to work properly. They cannot be switched off in the banner.

Our network and security provider, Cloudflare, may also set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site against attacks and automated bots, including on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile).

3.2 Statistics and marketing (only with your consent)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are visited most. Google Analytics is only loaded if you allow this category. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

3.3 External content (only with your consent)
Our contact and dealer pages show maps provided by Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). A map is only loaded if you allow this category or click "Load Map" on the page. When a map loads, Google receives information such as your IP address and may set its own cookies; data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the United States.

4. Managing cookies in your browser
In addition to Cookie Settings, you can view and delete cookies in your browser settings and block them for all or certain websites. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Site, such as signing in or the cart, will not work.
